About the Law of Time & Seasons
Excited about turning a new year. And with it brings the energy of new beginnings. I love new beginnings. I have written many posts on the drafts with thoughts that never seem to be just right, complete or insightful. I have therefore come to the conclusion that those thoughts will not get published, and the only way to let one out, is to open up this Medium editor, fire one up, and hit publish when I am done, or when I get tired.
2021 Was a fascinating year. I learned a ton. It does indeed seem as the year that I grew the most as an individual, as a business man, creative and husband.
The Law of Time and Seasons.
I caught myself thinking about this yesterday morning as I cleaned the car before going to church for the new year’s service. Our Pastor once taught about this law of time and seasons. I was particularly very impressed because these were insights I had been thinking about a week prior to him sharing this profound thought with us in church. I wondered to myself what does time and chance mean?
My Insight into time and chance.

I remember pondering on this idea. Especially a lot during some of my down times, reflecting about business, marriage, living, children and what it means to live and exist in this world.
I thought that, time is the unwritten amount of time that everyone is given to exist in this world. It is not necessarily measured in days or weeks, or even years. It is the abstract provision of life that a human being is given in this life on earth.
Chance however, is the opportunity granted to everyone without bias. Think of sunshine, rain, seasons, health, sickness, age. We can think of even more things that seem freely available, the gift of community, the privilege to talk and have communication, the privilege to use hands and feet, the gift of learning, language, mathematics, technology and innovation, the internet. And so many more things that not one person has monopoly over.
Life is Always Beautiful.
No matter how dark the times we are in seem, there are opportunities and privileges in all seasons and times. There are people, community, faith, love, sex and freedoms. To view life as a beautiful opportunity that happens for everyone is a great way to view this gift. Especially in this new year.
I found myself interested in this idea that these opportunities exist. What is however not common, is people’s ability, enthusiasm, sometimes intelligence or even sometimes access to these free opportunities. But do they exist? Yes indeed they do.
It was an interesting challenge to ask myself. What chances and opportunities are available to me that I am not taking full advantage of? And what can I do to maximize these opportunities?
The Law of Time & Seasons insight from my Pastor.
He did mention that we need to appreciate that, there are things that will happen. And people will get into certain seasons of life.
You can tap into opportunities & seasons around you.
He mentioned that people might be in their seasons, and you might find yourself caught up in people’s seasons. It might be that someone is in a season of life where they are experiencing an upward movement and blessings, and just by the virtue of being around them, you take part of their blessings. It might also vice versa where people are experiencing a season of drought in their lives, and you end up participating too.
The thought is that, a new year brings a new season, where people are excited about new things. Ready to begin new projects, finish old projects, try some new things and risk a little. It’s a great time with great energy that we can tap into and we should tap into.
I am excited with the feelings of bringing some of my ideas back to life, old projects, incomplete work and so much more. Can’t wait to take even more advantage to the time & seasons.
